Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike Deck [Fusion Strike]

Overview

Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike has decent toughness with 320 HP. Similar to Inteleon VMAX from Rebel Clash, Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike also has Lightning Weakness and 2 Energy  Retreat Cost. Since it is a Rapid Strike Pokemon, you can also use it together with Rapid Strike cards to improve the overall strategy of the deck.

Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike has great sniping Ability, Double Shooter which let you put 2 damage counters on 2 of your opponent's Pokemon in exchange for 1 Water Energy from your hand. This Ability is not limited to one time use per turn so you can use this Ability more than one time if you have 2 or more Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike in play. Having sniping Agility makes Intelon VMAX usable in some of the decks that require damage counter on your opponent Pokemon to increase damage or to deal snipe damage. Some good example of these decks are Sableye V and Jolteon VMAX.

Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike attack, G-MAX Whirlpool requires 1 Water Energy and 1 Colorless Energy and has 70 base damage. In addition, you have an option to put 1 Energy from it into your hand and add extra 70 damage to G-MAX Whirlppol. With the combination of Double Shooter and G-MAX Whirlpool, you can 2HKO your opponent's VMAX Pokemon. The effect of putting 1 Water Energy in your hand is also great for Double Shooter Ability since you need 1 Water Energy to use that Ability.

Its pre-evolution, Inteleon V Rapid Strike is not as good as Inteleon V from Rebel Clash. It has two attacks. The first attack Surf requires 1 Water Energy and 1 Colorless Energy and does 40 damage while the second attack Aqua Bullet requires 2 Water Energy and 1 Colorless Energy and has 120 base damage and does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's benched Pokemon. There is no point in attaching 3 Energy to use its second attack, Aqua Bullet since Inteleon VMAX attack requires only 2 Energy.

The reason Inteleon V is much better Inteleon V Rapid Strike is that for same 40 damage, Inteleon V attack, Snipe Shot  only require 1 Water Energy and this attack also can damage to 1 of your opponent Pokemon. So, I highly recommend Inteleon V in your deck instead of Inteleon V Rapid Strike.

Finding & Recycling Water Energy

This deck requires you to have Water Energy in your hand every turn for Double Shooter Ability. Capacious Bucket let you find 2 Water Energy cards from your deck and you can also use more than 1 Capacious Bucket every turn since it is an Item card.

Both Energy Retrieval and Energy Recycler let you recycle Basic Energy from discard pile. Energy Retreival is more suitable for this deck because you can immediately put 2 Water Energy from your discard pile into your hand and you can straightaway use Double Shooter Ability. Although, Energy Recycler recycle more Basic Energy [5 Energy], these Energy are shuffled back into your deck so you need to find those Water Energy again.

With Training Court as a Stadium in play, you will always have at least 1 Water Energy in your hand to use for Double Shooter as this Stadium let you put 1 Basic Energy from your discard pile into your hand.

Energy Setup

Using Melony, you can accelerate 1 extra Water Energy from discard pile to Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike. Then, attach 1 Water Energy from your hand manually to Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike. Doing so, your can attach 2 Energy to Inteleon VMAX in one turn and can start attacking your opponent with G-MAX Whirlpool.

Even if your Inteleon VMAX has already 2 Energy, you can still use Melony to attach extra1 Water Energy to it. Then, you can use Inteloen VMAX G-MAX Whirlpool to put that extra Water Energy from it into your hand and use it for Double Shooter Ability during your next turn.

You can also attach Rapid Strike Energy to Inteleon VMAX to provide 2 Water Energy for G-MAX Whirlpool.

Putting extra Damage Counters

Similar to Inteleon VMAX Rapid Strike Ability Double Shooter, Inteleon Rapid Strike Ability Quick Shooting also let you put 2 damage counters on 1 of your Pokemon. Although, Inteleon Rapid Strike Ability can only target 1 Pokemon, you don't need to discard Water Energy to use Quick Shooting Ability. It is also recommended to have mixture of both Inteleon VMAX and Inteleon on your bench. Otherwise, you won't have enough Water Energy to use Double Shooting Ability every turn.

On top of that, Inteleon pre-evolution Drizzile Ability Shady Dealings let you find a Trainer from your deck when you evolve it. So, you can use this effect to find important cards like Melony, Capacious Bucket or Training Court etc  Getting Trainer that you want exactly always give you advantage over your oppoennt.
